SURFER’S PARADISE is a single-camera, blue-sky relationship dramedy about a group of twenty-something friends, who skip the rat race and ride the waves in the Hawaiian Islands – “Baywatch meets Friends”
Now is the time for a ‘blue-sky’ show.
Taking place in the epicenter of the surfing world – The Hawaiian Islands – season one introduces six characters living on the island of Oahu outside Honolulu. They all work for Charlie Bergman, who owns the Surfers Paradise Surf Shops and Surf Schools on the four major islands – Oahu, Maui, the Big Island and Kauai.

All of our characters are Hawaiian natives and all are professional surfers. They have all been friends since childhood and are all connected to the ocean as surfers, sailors, scuba divers, marine biologists and oceanographers.
The antagonist on this show is global warming, and the looming environmental disasters threatening the islands, manifested as rising ocean, bleaching coral reefs and severe tropical storms and hurricanes.
